Description

/will put more info here about the plot and what I think of it blah blah later, but right now I need to sleep. and study.
go ahead and watch it if you're curious - I recommend it :)

alright, now that I have some time to actually put something here:

I decided to draw some fanart for one of my top favourite animated films: Twice Upon A Time
So the plot - um, well...hold on, I'll think of a good way to explain it XD

You see, there's this place called Din, and there are these 2 lands that provide dreams to them: one is the Land of Frivoli, who provide the good dreams, and the Murkworks, who cause nightmares.

The mastermind behind the Murkworks, Synonamess (I think that's how you spell it) Botch plans to overthrow the good dreams by putting Din under eternal nightmares. To do this, he'll need to stop the Cosmic Clock, which as you can tell by the name controls all of time. A slightly complex plan to stop and start time, and set off the nightmare bombs he has to place throughout all the land.

Enter our "heroes": Ralph the All-Purpose Animal who, as you can guess, can take the form of any animal imaginable, and his silent companion Mumford. They want to become heroes. Unfortunately they're a bit of misfits, and seem to screw up at whatever they try to do.

Botch takes advantage of them, using them to go stop time to further hatch his plans. After being told by the Fairy Godmother that they were being used, they decide to stand up against Botch and foil his goal.

----------------------------

...and that's the best summary I can come up with lol
it's kinda like a fractured fairy tale from Rocky and Bullwinkle
only it's a bit more adult.
and slightly messed up in places.

This movie holds up to me as one of my favourite nostalgic films - I first saw this on Cartoon Network, and I was hooked. I loved the characters, I loved the animation, the aesthetics. I even loved the outdated 80's soundtrack.

and I still do, actually. Watching it uncut and uncensored nowadays, it makes more sense than it did before (if you want to read up on the movie's history, I linked the Wikipedia page down below).

I recommend you go watch this movie as well, even just for the looks alone. Most everything was done in lumage, a style of animating similar to the likes of South Park and Blues Clues.
The humour might be hit and miss with some people, and may warrant watching the film a second time, but if you like it, then great! If not, that's fine too - then I accomplished my goal of spreading this film around.
An often overlooked gem of a film, in my opinion.

I'd love to hear your opinion on it as well! :3

I could have added more characters, but oh well (for the life of me I couldn't figure out what pose to draw them in)
